2) How long does the process of water mitigation take? 

This time to mitigate will vary for each situation depending on the size of the area affected and severity of the damage. There are times that water just needs to be extracted and fans and dehumidifiers can be set to complete the dry out. Other times water make get into the walls and will require removal of some dry wall to ensure the work is done right. 3) What happens to all my contents that have been damaged from water?
